Born in Genoa, he graduated in Architecture in 1985 attending, however, from 1978 to 1982 the Ligurian Academy of Fine Arts and starting from 1980, to exhibit their work .
In 1983 he was awarded the Art Duchess of Galliera for a study tour in the cities and in major museums in Paris, Hamburg, London and Berlin.
From 1984 to 1995 he collaborated with the course of the Institute of Contemporary Art History at the University of Genoa participating in the realization of numerous educational exhibits.
From 1989 to 1996 he taught at the IPOD in Genoa (Institute of Visual Communication - Polytechnic Byron) "Analysis of the main elements in the linguistic and compositional visual arts and architecture. "
In 1993 he obtained a PhD in Architectural Design Method of the problems with a thesis on (Genoa) The Thirties and the project of modernity. The language-processing architecture in ephemeral works and deeds of the regime ".

Since academic 2001 is professor at the Faculty of Architecture, University of Genoa, where he plays the course of Interior Design.
In 1995 he organized at the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Genoa, the exhibition and the conference: "City at Art - Relationships and influences between the arts and the city."
In 1997 he was awarded the Province of Genoa for the sculpture in the exhibition "Forms and contemporary images."
In 2004 he won the invited competition organized by the Municipality of Genoa for the installation of a relief in the building of the Rowing Club of Pra and the competition launched by the province of Savona for the mounting of the "white-blue.
